It's Thanksgiving in the 100 Acre Wood,
And Pooh reflects outside his door.
He thinks on the day, & all it will bring,
He has so much to be thankful for!
He thinks of Christopher Robin,
Of Eeyore, Kanga & Roo,
Owl, Tigger, Rabbit,-
And Piglet,- all friends so true!
If all he had in life were these,
He would be rich indeed!
For with loved ones to share your life with,
You have all you really need! |

"Happy Thanksgiving Owl!
Won't you join us as we get together?"
"Um, Pooh? Will this by any chance involve
partaking of something with feather?" |
"Happy Thanksgiving Mr. Turkey!
Won't you be our guest of honor today?"
"I do believe I already am,
in a most unfortunate way!" |

Pooh & Piglet have quite a find!
They can scarce believe their eyes!
They roll it along & Piglet asks,
"Will this make 100 pies?" |
"You'd be a good friend for Owl!
You both have feathers", said Pooh.
"Do you tell long stories, and can you spell?
Are you as wise as Owl is too?"
"This is the day that's set aside
for giving thanks," said Pooh.
And what I am most thankful for,
Is having friends like you!"

"Isn't it wonderful to have a day
set aside for counting our
blessings Pooh?"
"It certainly is Piglet!"
"Pooh?"
"Yes Piglet?"
"I just wanted you to know, that
when I count my blessings,
I count you twice!" |
Piglet has made a scrumptious pie
to add to the feast today!
"Piglet, is there just a small chance,
You have added hunny in any way?" |

Pooh's making something for the meal,
"It's my specialty!" says he!
"Three cups hunny added to one cup hunny -
It's my own original recipe!" |
 
Pooh & Piglet have caught a special ride,
To get to the feast today.
The turkeys told them they'd drop them off,
But that they mustn't stay!.
The turkey's on the table,
And of course the hunny too!
The gang says there's just one thing missing -
They say that it is you!
So won't you join them as they give thanks,
For the bountiful blessings they share!
And when you count your blessings,
Don't forget that special little bear!
